MEET YOUR POSTMAN
Dustin Jessen

The customer of the future wants to be more mobile and be able to decide where and when he receives his postal items. Customers will be able to match their daily routes with the postman’s routes by communicating with him via the familiar instant messaging systems. The glove, in this case a combination of a working glove and wearable electronics, is a central feature of this scenario. Signing a package with your fingerprints makes things faster and easier. All the customer information is stored in a computer in the delivery van, which has a wireless connection to the glove. Shaking someone’s right hand is already a common way of saying hello and goodbye, so the handshake with the left-handed glove becomes a symbol of a successful delivery.
