SEAGUARD
Marcin Jez

The SEA GUARD overall gives a person overboard a better chance for survival in icy waters. The functional principle is that, on contact with water, a two-component foam is pumped into special chambers inside the rescue suit in just a few seconds. With the thermal energy released by the process, life-preserving warmth can be supplied to the person in peril for an extended period of time.

The jury's verdict: "SEAGUARD represents a forward-looking maritime human rescue system. It is not only an innovative life vest, but a full body suit that maintains body temperature over a longer period of time in emergency situations. A convincing and fascinating idea."
